Why we need friends like you...We depend on the public for over two thirds of our funding. This page gives you information on how you can give money and time to support the care we offer.
Giving moneyYou can make a 'one off' donation securely on line here:
If you pay tax we may be able to claim extra money on top of your donation from the government through GIFT AID
Friends of Shalom
Become a regular giver to Shalom by becoming a 'Friend of Shalom'. This means committing to a regular donation though direct debit or standing order. All our services are free to patients and we are a charity reliant on donations and fundraising. As a friend you will be supporting a very worthwhile charity providing a very important service to your local community. To keep updated on our progress please follow us on Facebook.
Download our Friends of Shalom information leaflet.
Donations by Standing Order
If you prefer and have a bank account, you can make a regular donation by setting up a standing order with your bank on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis. To set up a standing order, download this form, complete it and send it to us (not to your bank).
If you are employed, your employer might offer Give as you Earn. This is a scheme run by Charities Aid Foundation where your donation is taken directly out of your pay, before you pay tax.
Making a gift in your will
Please see Legacies.
Many people in Pembrokeshire ask for donations to Shalom House instead of gifts at weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. If you would like to do this, you can help us to claim GIFT AID on top of the donations by asking us to send you a set of envelopes and a collection box. You might also want to set up a Just Giving page to make it easy for people to give donations on line instead of presents.
Donations at a funeral
Many people like to ask for donations to Shalom House in lieu of flowers at a funeral. We can claim GIFT AID on these donations if they are collected in a way the Government approves of. The simplest way is to ask us to provide you with a set of envelopes and a collection box. Your funeral directors will be able to arrange this by talking to us on your behalf.
